XSPOC Server Minimum Requirements:

Processor 1 Gigahertz, or greater
Operating System One of the following:
Windows NT Server operating system version 4.0
Windows NT Server 4.0 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 6 or later.
Windows 2000 Server
Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Windows XP Professional (recommended)
Memory 512 MB, or greater, recommended
Hard Disk

At least 500MB of disk space for application

Additional disk space depending on number of wells, data resolution, and data archiving (20 GB is more than sufficient for even largest systems)
Display

VGA or higher-resolution monitor; Super VGA recommended

At least 1024x768 resolution on monitor and at least 17" screen if server is to be used to run the client (19" or larger preferred)
Other Hardware

One serial port for every communication channel (if using serial ports)

Network card if system will be accessed by others on the LAN
Other Software Remote access capability (modem via pcAnywhere, Timbukto, etc. or VPN or RAS connection is highly desireable to provide remote support)
Misc

Backup capability: second hard drive, network backup (*recommended), or tape drive. CD-RW not recommended because of limited data storage of a CD-RW. Data backups will be larger than a CD-RW can hold.

If xsDailer is used, a USB port is needed for some of the supported modems.
